Airbnb Haagse Toren

My stay in the Airbnb Haagse Toren

Monday the 29th of February Roos and I stayed in an awesome apartment, the ” Airbnb Haagse Toren ”. High in the sky at the 30th floor of the a big skyscraper. We have visited The Hague quit a few times but spending the night was the first time. We arrived around 3 o clock. Getting out of the elevator on the 30th floor you are immediately overwhelmed by the view through the 90 degree angle of glass. Luckily for us it was sunny with a clear blue sky.

The Airbnb Haagse Toren was located on the south side of the tower. The two huge windows give you a panorama view over The Hague Holland Spoor. The apartment was very clean and spacious. There is a spacious kitchen provided with oven and refrigerator. In addition, there is a dishwasher. Electric kettle and Senseo machine can also be used. There’s a lot of wardrobe space which can be useful if you stay for a longer time. The large closet in the middle of the room separates the bed from the rest of the room. Next to the kitchen there is the bathroom. Simple but practical.

After relaxing for a moment we went of to the city center. The location of this Airbnb Haagse Toren is superb! You can take the train from The Hague Holland Spoor directly in to The Hague central. The Hague has a lot of different cozy areas where you can sit down for a drink. Around every church or monumental building there are bars and restaurants. We sat down for a beer at a bar called September. A classic old pub at the ”grote markt”. After our beers we headed for the restaurant Bite Me. This is located near ”Paleis Noordeinde” at the Anna Paulownaplein 9.

OMG this place was epic! The food was very good, so was the wine, At Bite Me you can have small portions of food from all over the world. You will probable expect some simple dishes but that wasn’t the case at all. Each dish was very special and tasted amazing! The whole menu is based on dishes you share. This made it very romantic but next to that you can try out twice as much food!

Overall Roos and I had a great stay in this Airbnb Haagse Toren! The view is amazing. It is close by the center but even closer to the train station and has a lot of other public transport around it. The Airbnb is very clean and has everything you need. Some big pluses are the washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and oven. So basically it’s a full option studio with a stunning view! Why not try it for a night?
